"I won against two idols, Fedor and ‘Minotauro,' the fist was obviously very special. I really practiced a lot, I was sure I was going to win. I think luck was also very important in the fight, I was able to beat him [Fedor] in 69 seconds in 2010, you know, but absolutely no comparison."
-- Even after a monumental second-round submission victory of mixed martial arts (MMA) legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC on FUEL TV 10 on Saturday (June 8, 2013) in Brazil, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight contender Fabricio Werdum still deems his 2010 submission victory of Fedor Emelianenko as be the most significant of his 24-fight career. "Vai Cavalo" is the only fighter to ever submit both Nogueira and Emelianenko in MMA competition, but admitted at the post-fight press conference (watch it here) that given the circumstances surrounding each fight, the fact he was able to hand "The Last Emperor" his first loss in nearly 10 years was more the meaningful victory.
