UFC on FUEL TV 10 results: Rony Jason submits Mike Wilkinson in less than two minutes

Because the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is all about continuity, it made sense to book Rony Jason on tonight's (Sat., June 8, 2013) UFC on FUEL TV 10: "Nogueira vs. Werdum" card from the Paulo Sarasate Arena in Fortaleza, Brazil.

He did win the Ultimate Fighter Brazil season one featherweight tournament, after all.

So he returned here to battle the unknown Mike Wilkinson, an undefeated Brit being thrown into the fire to battle the mask wearing maniac in his home country.

It didn't take long for Jason to take care of business either.

Indeed, just over one minute into the opening round, he landed a few hard punches that had Wilkinson shooting in for a takedown. That turned out to be a fatal mistake, as Rony threw his legs up and locked in a triangle choke that put Wilkinson to sleep.

At least he didn't tap, right?
