Chico Camus will get the chance to perform in front of his hometown crowd when he takes on Kyung Ho Kang in a Bantamweight affair at UFC 164: "Henderson vs. Grant" on Aug. 31, 2013 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Both men were defeating in their previous trips to the Octagon and will be looking to right the wrongs made last time they stepping in the cage inside the Bradley Center.
MMA Junkie first reported news of the match up earlier this week and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) officials later confirmed the 135-pound contest on the organization's official website.
Camus (12-4) trains under the tutelage of famed striking coach Duke Roufus at Roufusport gym in Milwaukee alongside the likes of featherweight contenders Anthony Pettis and Erik Koch.
The 28-year-old is 1-1 in the UFC thus far and his past four victories have all come by submission.
Kang (11-6, 1 NC) was defeated by Alex Caceres in his UFC debut last March; however, the result of the fight was later overturned after "Bruce Le-Roy" was flagged for marijuana metabolites in his post-fight drug test.
While he didn't get to show much in his first Octagon appearance, the 25-year-old is a finisher who has put 10 of the 11 men he has defeated away inside the distance.
Camus vs. Kang is likely to take place on the preliminary portion of the UFC 164 fight card, which can be seen on FOX Sports 1 and streamed on Facebook/YouTube. The main card will be available for purchased on pay-per-view (PPV).
