Welcome, Maniacs, to the forty-seventh edition of "This Week in" MMAmania is a gigantic and glorious place and we pump out a ridiculous amount of content. If you don't refresh this site every 60 minutes, you might just miss something amazing.

Have no fears, that's what this weekly article is all about! We'll recap the best of all things MMAmania, whether it be a great comment, a Fan Post, an article, video or something else.

- Comment of the Week: This one goes to Ulf Murphy, for his witty retort which also happened to describe the perfect woman for our beloved resident Maniac Joben.

Shields would sub your mom
and then take her out for dinner

- OhHeGotCaught

Ms Joben is a god damn saint

- Joben

She has beer in her teets
which explains the reason for Joben.

- Ulf Murphy

- Article of the week: It's been a while since I gave a shoutout to Patrick L. Stumberg's betting guides and I thought his article on UFC on Fuel TV 10 was just as good as any.

- Statistic of the Week: This week's most popular article had nothing to do with a fighter, but instead, a sponsor. When top Brazilian brand Praetorian got banned by UFC, a large amount of people were interested in reading about it, particularly Brazilians.

- Fanpost of the Week: I know this is a combat sports blog, but Notorious G.I.B.'s article on resisting the urge to fightwas very well written and deserves some extra attention.

- Honorable mention fanpost of the week: This one goes to wooly shambler for his impressive breakdown of all the physical tools and statistics of the upcoming Jose Aldo vs Anthony Pettis fight.

- Honorable mention comment of the week: Congratulations to TheChrish, for his perfectly adequate Mania response to finding out Quinton Jackson wants to tag team with King Mo Lawal in TNA

Rampage tagged teamed king mo?

- TheChrish

- Interview of the Week: In case you missed it, I thought my interview with current number one welterweight contender Johny Hendricks was rock solid. Give it a look if you haven't already. .

But that's not all, there was also an interview with World Series of Fighting promoter Ray Sefo. .

- Video of the Week: I couldn't think of a better place to learn whizzer defense than the MMA Candy girls.

- Burn of the Week: Duece02 gets the honors this week for putting RMTrader in his place.Seriously

I couldn't have come up with that name myself.

Kudos. I am just wondering which voice in your head was talking to you at the time.

- RMTrader

I am picturing you high-fiving your cat as you type this out.

"You see that burn Whiskers, you see that shit? Oh Yeah!!!!"

- Deuce02

We don't just have great content on MMAmania, our writers also are very active on Twitter, most notably our beloved Geno Mrosko. Unfortunately, Geno seems to have deleted his Twitter account a while ago, so other Mania writers had to step up their game. Let's see how they did.

Here's our honorary #GenoTime Tweet of the Week: It has nothing to do with MMA, but Jesse Holland's birthday card envelope from hsi daughter was amazing.

If you want to catch any good tweets from your Mania writers, here are our accounts: Thomas Myers, Jesse Holland,Adam Guillen Jr., Mike Bohn, Andrew Richardson, George Halvatsis Jr., Jason Probst and Brian Hemminger..

- Obligatory TNA of the Week: Double trouble.

- Scottidog's "Good guy comment of the week" - This one is sweet and simple. I thought sarah- was very complimentary of Scott1's crazy co-worker story (which was awesome by the way).

AND WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!!!! i feel like i've just read irvine welsh
by sarah-

Lastly, let's finish off the week with some Maniac debate. This week we;re talking the big Bellator news.

How successful do you think Rampage Jackson's run in Bellator will be? Could he be a champion or will he flop?

That's it for this week. If you've got an extra suggestions for content, or nominations for articles, comments or discussion topics, please feel free to e-mail me at (and I made this e-mail especially for this):
