The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) reality show franchise will continue to scout for young talent across the globe as the organization has announced an international edition of the reality show set to take place in China.

The show will feature a similar format to past seasons of TUF, however, there is an exciting twist as for the first time a complete cast of Asian fighters will be vying for a six-figure Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contract.

Anton Tabuena of Bloody Elbow first reported the news after translating a story from Chinese news outlet LiaoNing TV. UFC officials have yet to comment on the report.

According to the report, tryouts for TUF: China will take place later this year in multiple cities throughout Asia and will be open to fighters from the welterweight, lightweight and featherweight divisions.

Tryout dates are as follows:

July 21 at the Metropark Lido Hotel in Beijing
July 25 at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore
Aug. 3 at the Venetian Hotel in Macau

Potential coaches for the show have not been determined at this time; however, the organization currently only has two Chinese fighters signed to its roster (Jumabieke Tuerxun, Zhang Tiequan), so it could be slim pickings in terms of which two fighters will coach a group of up-and-coming prospects.

MMAmania.com will have more details on TUF: China as they become available.
