Pascal Kruass will get the chance to perform in front of somewhat of a hometown crowd when he takes on Hyun Gyu Lim in a welterweight affair at UFC 164: "Henderson vs. Grant" on Aug. 31, 2013 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Both men were victorious in their previous trips to the Octagon and will be looking to make it two-in-a-row with a victory at the Harley Davidson "Hometown Throwdown" event.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) officials recently confirmed the 170-pound contest on their official website.
Krauss (11-1) may be of German descent, but the Milwaukee crowd will be on his side come fight night as the 26-year-old trains out of local gym Roufusport alongside notable UFC names such as Anthony Pettis and Erik Koch.
"Panzer" is 2-1 since joining the UFC roster in Nov. 2010; however, his win over Mike Stumpf at UFC on FOX 6 last January was his most impressive to date as Krauss showed off a dynamic offensive attack.
Lim (11-3-1) scored a pretty knee knockout over Marcelo Guimaraes at UFC on FUEL TV 8 last March and proved his striking skills are not something to be overlooked.
Of 11 career victories, "The Ace" has defeated 10 opponents by (technical) knockout or submission. The 28-year-old has never been knocked out in his career.
Krauss vs. Lim is likely to take place on the preliminary portion of the UFC 164 fight card, which can be seen on FOX Sports 1 and streamed on Facebook/YouTube. The main card will be available for purchased on pay-per-view (PPV).
