The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): Brazil 1 middleweight winner Cezar Ferreira will finally make his first post-TUF appearance when he takes on Clint Hester this summer at UFC 163 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Aug. 3, 2013.

Both fighters are veterans of the TUF franchise with Ferreira winning his season and Hester coming up short by losing in the quarterfinal round.

Brazilian news outlet SporTV Globo first reported news of the match up on Friday (May 31, 2013); however, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) officials have not confirmed the 185-pound contest at this time.

Ferreira (5-2) defeated Sergio Moraes at UFC 147 in July 2012 to win the inaugural TUF: Brazil crown, but has not competed since then due to a number of injuries.

The 28-year-old was expected to face C.B. Dollaway at UFC on FX 7 as well as Rafael Natal at UFC on FX 8; however, was forced to withdraw from both contests.

Finally healthy, "Mutante" will look to finally make his Octagon debut 13 months after winning the reality show.

Hester (8-3) had a disappointing run on TUF 17, but managed to erase the memories of that in a big way with a brutal third-round elbow knockout of Bristol Marunde at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale.

The 26-year-old was pegged as one of the top prospects to come out of his season of TUF, and after the highlight reel finish in his UFC debut will look to continue to prove his showings on the reality show were not all he has to offer.

It is unknown at this time if Ferreira vs. Hester will take place on the preliminary, which will be broadcasted on Facebook and FX or the pay-per-view (PPV) main card.

UFC 163 goes down from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Aug. 3, 2013. The main event of the evening will see featherweight champion Jose Aldo put his title on the line for the fifth time against Anthony Pettis, who moves down from the lightweight division to challenge "Scarface"
