UFC 163: Vinny Magalhaes vs. Anthony Perosh booked for Aug. 3 in Rio

Two talented fighters coming off recent losses looking to get back into the win column. Who ya' got?

USA TODAY Sports

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has booked an interesting light heavyweight match-up for its upcoming UFC 163: "Aldo vs. Pettis" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place on Aug. 3, 2013 from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Vinny Magalhaes vs. Anthony Perosh, according to Brazil's Attaque Total.

Magalhaes (10-6) is looking to rebound from his unanimous decision loss to Phil Davis at last month's UFC 159 event in New Jersey. The loss to "Mr. Wonderful" snapped a six-fight winning streak and marked his first defeat since rejoining ZUFFA back in September.

Tall order for Perosh.

"The Hippo" also came up empty his last time out, getting knocked out by Ryan Jimmo at UFC 149 last summer in Canada. Prior to that, the Australian grappling guru rattled off three consecutive wins including three finishes after stumbling in his Octagon debut against Mirko Filipovic.

Should be interesting.

UFC 163 features a featherweight championship main event as Brazilian sensation Jose Aldo puts his belt on the line against former World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) Champion Anthony Pettis, who is dropping from the lightweight division to challenge for "Junior's" belt.
