UFC President Dana White said at the UFC 160 post-fight press conference (watch it here) that matchmaker Joe Silva was ready to give Junior dos Santos both “Fight of the Night” and “Knockout of the Night” for his incredible spinning kick knockout of Mark Hunt, but former boxing champion Mike Tyson –who was cage side at the event-- vetoed the idea and convinced White to instead give the $50,000 “KOTN” bonus to Canadian T.J. Grant, who knocked out Gray Maynard in first round.
