Glover Teixeira hasn't lost a fight since March 2005, just four contests into his professional mixed martial arts (MMA) career. He's fought 18 times since then, including three under the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) banner, and looked like a world beater in nearly every bout.
He'll get the chance to impress the rest even more tonight (Sat., May 25, 2013) on the main card of the UFC 160: "Velasquez vs. Bigfoot 2" pay-per-view (PPV) that takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
His opponent is James Te Huna, admittedly a step down from his previous foe, Quinton Jackson, but he was originally scheduled to battle Ryan Bader. Either way, he's hoping a victory puts him next in line for a shot against current king of the light heavyweight division, Jon Jones.
Get in line.
Te Huna has become a bit of an afterthought in this one, but perhaps that shouldn't be the case. After all, he's ripped off four straight victories and won five of his last six total. Are we underestimating him?
Stay tuned.
