"You can make the poster for my fight against Cigano already. It will happen because we're both gonna win."
-- Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight No. 1 contender Antonio Silva tells Brazilian news outlet GloboTV (translated through Google Chrome) that the UFC brass should start making the posters to promote a title fight between himself and former champion Junior dos Santos now, because the two friends and countrymen are both going to come out of their respective UFC 160 bouts on top and will then be lined up to face each other for the belt. "Bigfoot" challenges Cain Velasquez for the heavyweight title in the main event on Saturday night (May 25, 2013) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, while dos Santos meets Mark Hunt in the co-main event in what is being considered a No. 1 contenders affair. If both Silva and dos Santos win, they would then be forced to face each other. And despite being good friends and sharing the same management group, the two Brazilians would have absolutely no issues punching each other's faces in as long as championship gold is on the line.
Do Silva's comments make you believe he is looking past his title fight with Velasquez to a first title defense? Or is he just simply that confident he will be able to win the fight and go on to face dos Santos?
