Dana White UFC 160 video blog (Pt. 1)

Fight week, blog week! Check out the first installment of Dana White's UFC 160 video blog, which is a behind-the-scenes look into UFC 159: "Jones vs. Sonnen," which took place at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., on April 27, 2013.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White is back in front of the camera for his UFC 160 video blog (part one), giving mixed martial arts (MMA) fans a glimpse at behind-the-scenes footage from UFC 159: "Jones vs. Sonnen," which took place on April 27, 2013 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

What's that got to do with this weekend's "Velasquez vs. Bigfoot 2" pay-per-view (PPV) event, taking place on May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada?

Well, not much, but it's still a compelling look at what goes down behind the curtain, like Cheick Kongo's reaction upon facing his team mates shortly after getting knocked out by Roy Nelson. The first round loss marked the last time fight fans will see the Parisian inside the Octagon for the foreseeable future (more on that here).

That wasn't the only big story coming out of "The Rock."

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones had his toe stuck in a hard place, dislocating it during his four-minute shellacking of Chael Sonnen (details here). All you need to know about the gruesomeness of "Bones" mangled piggy can be seen in White's reaction.

In short, it was a wild night of fights.

But that was then and this is now. We're just a few days away from watching Cain Velasquez defend his heavyweight title against Brazilian "Bigfoot" Antonio Silva, while Junior dos Santos attempts to end the rally for Mark Hunt.
