We can't seem to get through one Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event without some form of controversial decision and last night's (Sat., May 18, 2013) UFC on FX 8: "Belfort vs. Rockhold" fight card at the Arena Jaragua in Jaragua do Sul, Brazil, was no different.
Evan Dunham and Rafael dos Anjos had themselves a nice little lightweight lowdown on the main card broadcast on FX and after three rounds, there was plenty of debate over the decision. That's before it was even announced by Bruce Buffer, who called out dos Anjos as the victor by scores of 29-28 across the board.
But controversy in a unanimous decision?
Yes. UFC President Dana White came right out and said Dunham was "robbed." For his part, Dunham did what everyone does these days and took to Twitter to voice his frustrations:
Tough fight don't agree with the decision like usual. Thanks everyone for the love.

The good news is we have the fine folks at Fight Metric to, at the very least, break down the numbers for us. And, as expected, the bout was just as close as it looked live.
Wow. That is the very definition of "could go either way."
Anyone thinking like White and feeling like Dunham got robbed? Or was the right decision made?
