It's Mother's Day today (May 12, 2013), and few other holidays bring out the love of the mixed martial arts (MMA) community than the one that pays appreciation to the women who birthed the fighters who beat each other into oblivion for our viewing pleasures.

Another special aspect of this Mother's Day is the fact it is the first since women fighters were brought into the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and real-life moms such as Cat Zingano and Sara McMann have stepped inside the Octagon and earned victories.
