DFC 4 results: Paul Daley smashes Rodrigo Ribeiro in Dubai (Full fight video)

"Semtex" returned to mixed martial arts (MMA) action last night (May 10, 2013), traveling around the world to knockout Rodrigo Ribeiro in less than 10 minutes.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Bellator and Strikeforce veteran Paul Daley continued his mixed martial arts (MMA) exile abroad last night (May 10, 2013) at Dubai Fighting Championship (DFC) 4, which took place at Madinat Arena, Mina A' Salam in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, blasting through Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Rodrigo Ribeiro in less than two rounds.

"Semtex" -- who is dealing with visa issues that have prevented him from traveling stateside to compete under the Bellator banner -- stuffed a takedown attempt in the second stanza and then went to work on the ONE FC veteran, who up until that point did everything in his power to avoid the power of the British banger.

Ribeiro most likely thought he was somewhat safe on his back stuffed up against the cage, but he was wrong ... really, really wrong. Daley unleashed several hammer fists and then a barrage of strike to the side of the Brazilian's head that turned out his lights in brutal -- albeit typical -- Daley fashion.

The spectacular finish -- No. 23 on his impressive mixed martial arts (MMA) ledger that features 32 total wins -- is Daley's third straight victory on the heels of wins over Rudy Bears at the Bellator 72 and Patrick Vallee at Cage Contender 16.
