Exciting time are upon us, mixed martial arts (MMA) fans.
With FOX rolling out the red carpet for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in a big way with the launch of FOX Sports 1 in just over three months time, promotion for the new channel is vamping up by the day.
It's already been brought to light that a major UFC show in Boston, Mass., will kick off the FOX Sports 1 channel launch on Aug. 17, 2013 and in the following days and weeks there will be a heavy influence of UFC programming, including several live events.
FOX has dubbed the channel as, "The One for Champions," and as just a teaser for what fans can expect, a brief 11-second commercial featuring UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been unveiled to take your excitement to the next level.

The fight card for the UFC on FOX Sports 1 debut event has not been announced at this time; however, a welterweight contest between Matt Brown and Thiago Alves has been confirmed for the event.
