Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was back on the airwaves earlier today (April 6, 2013) with UFC on FUEL TV 9: "Mousasi vs. Latifi" from the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.

Now, on to the main event.
Gegard Mousasi played it safe against last-minute fill-in Ilir Latifi, understandably so, after the unknown fighter took over for the injured Alexander Gustafsson. "The Sledgehammer" was game throughout the 15-minute affair, but just didn't have the chops to hang with "The Dreamcatcher" on the feet.
And the fight didn't get to the floor - Latifi's world -- until the waning seconds of round three.
Too little, too late. But since he did the promotion a solid, he will undoubtedly get a second chance inside the Octagon, while Mousasi moves on to bigger and better things.
Like that pesky "Mauler" fight he's been waiting for.
