TUF 17 Finale gate totals $569,075 with 5,918 tickets sold for 'Faber vs Jorgensen' on April 13 in Las Vegas

The numbers are in for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 17 Finale and according to the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC), the world's largest mixed martial arts promotion pulled in another decent haul.

The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 17 Finale, which took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 13, 2013, tallied a live gate of $569,075, according to official figures from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) released today.

The final attendance of 5,918 was the result of 5,382 tickets sold and 536 complimentary tickets, while 223 seats remained empty.

TUF 17 Finale main event featured former World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) posterboy, Urijah Faber, continuing his assault on top Bantamweight contenders, forcing Scott Jorgensen to tapout to a rear-naked choke in the fourth round of their 135-pound battle.

Meanwhile, in the co-main event, Kelvin Gastelum became TUF 17's Middleweight winner, outworking Uriah Hall en route to a close, and perhaps controversial, upset split decision victory. The other three main card bouts, which aired on FX Networks, saw Cat Zingano stop Miesha Tate in the "Fight of the Night," Travis Browne knockout Gabriel Gonzaga and Bubba McDaniel submit Gilbert Smith.
