He ain't afraid of no "Ghost."
Boxing's premiere superstar, Floyd Mayweather Jr., is set to enter the ring for the first time since a harrowing clash with Puerto Rican superstar Miguel Cotto (thanks to his pit stop in jail) and the Showtime network is picking up where HBO left off.
As "Money" prepares to face four-division champion Robert "Ghost" Guerrero, "All Access" gives viewers an inside look at preparations from both camps.
The 43-0 Mayweather, universally regarded as the number-one pound-for-pound fighter in the world, enters the bout an eight-to-one favorite, while Guerrero, last seen mugging Andre Berto in an impressive upset, is sitting at +500, slightly closer to even than where Cotto was.
Another upset special?
Despite the long odds, on a stylistic level, this has all the makings of a supremely-intriguing showdown between two elite welterweights. As such, MMAmania.com will have plenty of coverage in the coming days and live results when they lock horns this Saturday night (May 4, 2013) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Until then, enjoy episode two of All Access: Mayweather vs. Guerrero.
