Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight number one contender Chris Weidman is confident. But if you've read any of his past comments (like these), then you already knew that. So, how does the "All American" defeat the greatest fighter in the history of mixed martial arts (MMA) when they main event the upcoming UFC 162 pay-per-view (PPV) event over the Fourth of July Weekend in Las Vegas? By taking him down with wrestling, the same type of attack that "exposed" the Brazilian in past fights against Chael Sonnen and Dan Henderson, among others. But whether or not Weidman -- a former NCAA Division I wrestler with Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) grappling experience -- can exploit the ground game of "The Spider" remains to be seen. After all, the few times we've seen Silva in trouble, he's always managed to storm back and finish off his opponent. That probably explains why he's never been beaten inside the Octagon. Then again, neither has Weidman...
