But what about the rest of the card?
Indeed, the UFC 159: "Jones vs. Sonnen" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which went down last Saturday night (April 27, 2013) from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, featured lots of great action, one spectacular knockout and even some sloppy kickboxing.
And let's not forget the eye poke and broken toe.
It was a wacky and wild night of fights and all three "Fight Night" bonuses (see them here) came from the main card, but you can thank Pat Healy for that. "Bam Bam" scored "Submission of the Night" as well as "Fight of the Night" for his epic three round brawl against Jim Miller, which helped carry fans through the plodding "bangfest" that was Phil Davis vs. Vinny Magalhaes.
Roy Nelson topped it off with his "Knockout of the Night" against Cheick Kongo.
