Dana White media scrum full video from UFC 159 presser for 'Jones vs. Sonnen'

Calling all scrumbags! UFC President Dana White held court today at the UFC 159 media day for this weekend's UFC 159 pay-per-view event in New Jersey. Hear what the fight boss had to say about the state of MMA in the video above.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White does not have time for your silly little press conference.

He will, however, meet with reporters in a media scrum to field questions about the current state of mixed martial arts (MMA), including all things related to the upcoming UFC 159: "Jones vs. Sonnen" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which goes down at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., on Sat., April 27, 2013.

Yeah, that's two days away. You ready?

UFC 159 main event players Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen are, judging by today's staredowns (see the pics here).

In the video above, White talked about the "ridiculous" fight for regulation in New York, the suspension of Matt Mitrione, who was fined "a lot" for his Fallon Fox comments (more here), Georges St. Pierre and his next fight, which will most likely be against Johny Hendricks if he doesn't agree to a "super" fight soon, shipping up to Boston, Mass., on Sunday to "write some checks" for marathon bombing victims and much, much more.

Enjoy.

Remember, too, MMAmania.com will provide LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the UFC 159 main card action on fight night (Sat., April 27, 2013), which is slated to begin promptly at 10 p.m. ET on PPV. The latest fight-by-fight updates of the live action will begin to flow earlier than that around 6 p.m. ET with the "Prelims" bouts on Facebook and FX Channel.
