Buckle up, mixed martial arts (MMA) fans.
On Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at roughly 4:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. PT, current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight titleholder Georges St. Pierre will join UFC color-commentator Joe Rogan on Rogan's extremely popular "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast.
Mixed martial arts (MMA) figures including current and ex-fighters such as Josh Barnett, Tito Ortiz, Urijah Faber, UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, former UFC heavyweight champion Bas Rutten, UFC light heavyweight contender Chael Sonnen and UFC President Dana White have appeared on Rogan's podcast; St. Pierre will join that distinctive list with his highly anticipated appearance.
St. Pierre's appearance on the podcast came out of the blue, but it was likely set up due to the fact "Rush" is currently in Los Angeles to shoot his part in the upcoming Captain American film, which the French-Canadian will serve as a villain in.
Usually Rogan's podcast lasts up to about three hours; however, St. Pierre is an extremely busy man so the podcast may be shorter than usual.
The two will unquestionably explore a variety of topics from St. Pierre's role in the movie, his newly released book titled, "The Way of the Fight", his MMA career as well as much, much more.
