UFC on FOX 7 payouts and salaries: Benson Henderson and Frank Mir lead the way with $200,000 paydays

The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) today released the salary and payouts for everyone competing at Saturday's (April 20, 2013) UFC on FOX 7 event in San Jose, California. Below is a breakdown of the combined $1,318,000 payroll, including who took top honors.

UFC on FOX 7 payouts for those who competed at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) "Henderson vs. Melendez" event this past Saturday night (April 20, 2013) from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif., were acquired by the folks at MMAJunkie.com earlier today (April 21, 2013) from the California State Athletic Commission (NSAC).

Main event winner Benson Henderson, and co-main event loser Frank Mir, walked away a cool $200,000 each for their respective performances in two of the featured bouts of the evening.

Second on the payout leaderboard was "El Nino," who earned $175,000 despite losing an extremely close and controversial split decision to Henderson in the main event.

Keep in mind the salaries listed above do not include fight bonuses, sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial payments such as fight bonuses, among others. It also does not include deductions for expenses such as insurance, taxes, etc.
