XFC 23 results: Luis Santos finishes Shamar Bailey in ‘Louisville Slugger' headliner

Xtreme Fighting Championship's (XFC) twenty-third mixed martial arts (MMA) event is in the books as last night (April 19, 2013) the organization traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, for XFC 22: "Louisville Slugfest" at the Kentucky International Convention Center.

The event headliner was a welterweight bout that saw Luis Santos and Shamar Bailey face off in quick and one-sided bout as the Brazilian veteran "Sapo" finished Bailey with strikes a mere 62-seconds into the first round to snap a two-fight losing streak.

The co-main event of the night was a featherweight contest that Zach Underwood and Deivison Ribiro slug it out for 15-minutes with Underwood getting the nod from the judges for the 24th victory of his professional career.
