Following The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale on Saturday night (April 13, 2013), Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey hosted a question and answer session with mixed martial arts (MMA) media members at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Rousey is one of the most interesting personalities in the sport, and part of the spotlight was on her at the event as "Rowdy" found out she will be coaching The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 18 opposite Cat Zingano, who defeated Miesha Tate by technical knockout (watch it here) at the event to earn a coaching spot and title shot against the champion.
The Olympian will be one half of the first set of female coaches to ever appear on the long-running reality show, and with a team of both male and female fighters at her disposal, Rousey appears more than ready to make history.
Following Saturday's tremendous event in "Sin City," the undefeated champion spoke with a group of media members about Zingano's victory, what she expects from herself as a coach on TUF, what she expects from her team on the groundbreaking season and much, much more.
