"It is true, we bumped into each other one night in Los Angeles and, you know, he's a tough guy, he's a fighter and he said, ‘You know, man, I would love to try this UFC stuff.' I said, ‘Brother, you better work on your wrestling, you know?' I don't know, it was just talk and I know he's talking about publicly right now, but who knows, we'll see what happens."

-- On Saturday's (April 13, 2013) The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale post-fight show on FUEL TV, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White responds to professional boxer Andre Berto's recent comments where he expressed interest in competing inside the Octagon of world's top mixed martial arts (MMA) organization. White confirmed Berto's statement saying the two recently had a conversation about the two-time welterweight boxing champion testing himself in MMA competition. In what will like be encouraging to many who hope to see Berto one day fight in the UFC, White did not shoot down the idea of the 29-year-old joining the ranks of his promotion; however, he did not admit to wanting to sign Berto, either. The latest comments from the UFC's head-honcho are only going to add fuel to the fire of this story and it will be interesting to see where this story develops from here.
