Urijah Faber vs. Scott Jorgensen was scheduled for five rounds at last night's (Sat., April 13, 2013) Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 17 Finale at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, but the former didn't need that long to tap out the latter with a perfectly executed rear-naked choke in the fourth round of their bantamweight main event contest. This continues "The California Kid's" run of defeating every single fighter he faces when a championship isn't on the line. That's bad news for the UFC, who have to sell him as the elite level fighter he has been without allowing him to fight for the title and without sacrificing too many contenders in any division to him. It's an interesting position to be in, not unlike what eventually happened with Jon Fitch at welterweight. And we saw what happened to him. That's not to say the same fate awaits Faber but what does the promotion do with him now? Any thoughts, Maniacs?
