UFC on FUEL TV 8 results: Diego Sanchez vs. Takanori Gomi Fight Metric report

Gomi holds the edge in strikes, though the percentages are the same, while Sanchez credited with two successful takedowns. Interestingly enough, Fight Metric does not recognize Sanchez's kneebar in the first round as a submission attempt.

The one thing we can say with absolute certainty is this was a close fight. Yours truly would have scored it for Gomi.
