Wanderlei Silva knocks out Brian Stann in the second round of the main event of UFC on FUEL TV 8: "Silva vs. Stann" last night (Sat., March 2, 2013) at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. There is no way to oversell how special this bout truly was, what with Silva returning to "The Land of the Rising Sun" for the first time in years to take on "All American," who was more than willing to stand and trade punches as long as his Brazilian foe was willing to do the same. They stood against the fence and banged it out, they stood in the center of the Octagon and banged it out, they were bombing wherever they could bomb. Ultimately, both men were left bloodied and bruised but Silva's fists proved to have just a bit more fury and he scored the knockout to send the fans home happy. What a fight.
