RFA 7 results: Brandon Thatch stops Mike Rhodes in Colorado

Resurrection Fighting Alliance's (RFA) seventh mixed martial arts (MMA) event is in the books as last night (March 22, 2013) the organization traveled to Broomfield, CO, for RFA 7: "Thatch vs. Rhodes," at the 1stBank Center.

The event headliner saw welterweights Brandon Thatch and Mike Rhodes face off in a clash of two intriguing 170-pound prospects. Coming into the fight on just a few days notice, Rhodes was outpointed on the feet and ultimately outmaneuvered on the ground en route to a first-round submission victory from Thatch.

The co-feature of the night saw an upset take place as the highly touted Chidi Njokuani was submitted by Jeremy Kimball in the second round of their welterweight affair.
