Legacy Fighting Championship 18 results: Lewis stops Shivers in Houston

Legacy Fighting Championship's (LFC) eighteenth mixed martial arts (MMA) event is in the books as last night (March 1, 2013) the organization traveled to Houston, Texas, for LFC 18: "Lewis vs. Shivers," at Arena Theatre.

The event headliner saw a heavyweights Derrick Lewis and Ricky Shivers face off in a hard-fought, competitive battle with Lewis emerging victorious by third-round technical knockout. "The Black Beast" is a Houston native and the victory sent his hometown crowd home happy.

The co-feature of the night Jorge Patino and Derrick Krantz battle in a lightweight contest with Patino earning the victory for his sixth consecutive bout.
