Wanderlei Silva vs. Brian Stann full fight video preview for UFC on FUEL TV 8

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has one hell of a story to tell with the main event of its UFC on FUEL TV 8: "Silva vs. Stann" fight card scheduled for later on this evening (March 2, 2013) at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

That's because Wanderlei Silva is coming home.

Indeed, "The Axe Murderer" spilled more enemy blood on Japanese soil than he ever has stateside. It was over in "The Land of the Rising Sun" that the Brazilian became the legend he is today, having conquered the Pride FC promotion before coming back to America where he's struggled mightily.

Now, he'll battle an "All-American" hero in Brian Stann, whose tale has been told perhaps a few too many times but remains effective with each telling. We know the sacrifices he's made for his country but the question now is whether or not he can exchange fire with the heavy artillery Silva will bring to the cage.

Both men are battle tested. Both are battle worn, too. Whose flag will wave high when all is said and done?
