Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White can add one more accolade to his collection.

Not long after he become an Honorary Patron of the Phil (video here), the Las Vegas fight boss will get props from the local boys as the newest inductee into the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame, joining the likes of Andre Agassi, professional golfer Stephanie Louden and longtime local high school basketball coach Bill Bobier, among others, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The Sport's Hall of Fame gives some context to its mission:

The Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame has evolved into what has become a time-honored evening to recognize a select group of individuals who, through their dedication and commitment to sport, have become giants in our community. All proceeds from the event will be donated to various scholarship funds, youth groups, and community outreach projects in Southern Nevada.

The ceremony will be held on May 31, 2013 at the Orleans Arena, home to the Las Vegas Wranglers ice hockey team as well as the Las Vegas Sin lingerie football team. Tickets are priced at $250 for individuals and $1,800 for a table of eight.
