Report: Rony Jason vs. Mike Wilkinson added to UFC on FUEL TV 10 in Brazil

Match ups are slowly beginning to trickle in for UFC on FUEL TV 10 this summer as a Featherweight bout between Rony Jason and Mike Wilkinson has been agreed to for the June 8, 2013, event, set to go down at Ginasio Paulo Sarasate in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Both men are veterans of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) reality show, as Jason won the first season of TUF: Brazil while Wilkinson was featured on TUF: Smashes, but was pulled from his quarterfinal bout due to injury.

Brazilian news outlet SporTV first reported the bout; however, UFC officials have yet to confirm the 145-pound bout.

Jason (12-3) has started his UFC career on the right foot since winning TUF, posting a 2-0 record inside the Octagon including a stoppage victory over Sam Sicilia at UFC 153 last October.

The Team Nogueira product has fought all 15 of his professional bouts in his home country of Brazil, and that streak will continue at UFC on FUEL TV 10.

Wilkinson (8-0) will drop to 145-pounds after competing as a lightweight on the reality show. With his unbeaten record, the 25-year-old was pegged as one of the major prospects to come out of "The Smashes," but unfortunately he was never able to prove himself due to the injury that forced him out of the competition.

"The Warrior" did get a chance to fight in "The Smashes" finale at UFC on FX 6, and he was successful in that bout as he defeated Brendan Loughnane by decision.

It is unknown at this time if Jason vs. Wilkinson will take place on the main card, which airs on FUEL TV, or the preliminary portion of the card, which is likely to stream on Facebook.

UFC on FUEL TV 10 is expected to feature a heavyweight main event -- and rematch -- between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum, the two Brazilians who are serving as coaches on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): Brazil 2.
