Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today unveiled its first look at the upcoming poster for its UFC 160 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which is set to take place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 25, 2013.
UFC 160 will feature the second showdown between UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez and 265-pound "Bigfoot" Antonio Silva. Former division kingpin Junior dos Santos will try to get back into the title picture against Mark Hunt (not Alistair Overeem), who just today was guaranteed a title shot with a knockout win over "Cigano" in the co-main event (read more here).
Glover Teixeira, meanwhile, will attempt to make his case for a run at the 205-pound title opposite James Te Huna (not Ryan Bader), which -- along with the absence of "Demolition Man" -- highlights the reason the world's leading mixed martial arts (MMA) organization takes its time to make these events official.
Regardless, the UFC 160 fight card is still "subject to change."
In addition to the top two PPV main card bouts, Lightweight contenders Gray Maynard and "red-hot Canadian" T.J. Grant have also been confirmed for the Memorial Day weekend event in "Sin City."
So far, so good.
