UFC 158 video history behind Georges St. Pierre vs. Nick Diaz rivalry

Just two days out from their epic 170-pound title fight, UFC looks back at the history between Georges St. Pierre and Nick Diaz.

Is there anyone out there in Fightville who doesn't know the history between Georges St. Pierre and Nick Diaz?

Probably not, but just in case, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has put it on video for all you late-comers or casual fans who decided to pay attention after this epic meltdown during last week's media conference call (relive the madness here).

St. Pierre defends his 170-pound strap against Diaz in the main event of UFC 158 this Saturday night (March 16, 2013) at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was a fight that was supposed to happen back in late 2011, but Diaz blew off a press conference and St. Pierre shredded his knee.

Fortunately for Diaz, losing to Carlos Condit and getting suspended for smoking weed had no effect on his shot at the title.

That's the abridged version, which is fleshed out a bit more in the video above. There's been a lot of talking leading up to this weekend's pay-per-view (PPV) extravaganza, now it's time for fighting.

MMAmania.com will provide LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the main card action on fight night (Sat., March 16, 2013), which is slated to air at 10 p.m. ET on pay-per-view. The latest quick updates of the live action will begin to flow earlier than that around 6:30 p.m. ET with the "Prelims" bouts on Facebook and FUEL TV.
