It probably wasn't nearly as good as the UFC 158 pre-event press conference call that took place last week (listen to it here), but the recent "Countdown" special on FUEL TV did a fine job of promoting the upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, this Saturday night (March 16, 2013).
The hour-long Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) special, naturally, spent most of its time providing a behind-the-scenes look as current Welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre prepares to defend his title against former Strikeforce 170-pound kingpin, Nick Diaz, in the main event of the evening.

In addition to "St. Pierre vs. Diaz," the "Countdown" to UFC 158 special also featured the other two 170-pound contests that fill out the top of the PPV main card, Johny Hendricks vs. Carlos Condit and Nate Marquardt vs. Jake Ellenberger. Yes, the "Great" and "Juggernaut" got some air time, which obviously didn't happen on the aforementioned media call.
If for whatever reason you don't feel like watching the video up above online right now, or simply would prefer to record it on a DVR at a later date, "Countdown" to UFC 158 will re-air on the following dates and times:
- Weds., March 13 at 6 p.m. ET
- Fri., March 15 at 12 a.m., 1 and 4 p.m. ET
- Sat., March 16 at 2 a.m. and 7 p.m. ET
