UFC 156 fighter payouts for those who competed at the "Aldo vs. Edgar" pay-per-view (PPV) event this past Saturday night (Feb. 2, 2013) from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas were released to MMAmania.com earlier today by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).
And the night's top earners may surprise you.

How big? Try $285,714.29.
Not far behind "The Reem" was Jose Aldo with a cool $240,000 for keeping his featherweight title in Brazil, thanks to a unanimous decision win over former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar (see it happen here), who has 120,000 reasons to feel better about his third straight loss.
