UFC 157 results and LIVE fight coverage for 'Rousey vs. Carmouche' on Feb. 23 in Anaheim

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is heading to "The Heart of Orange County" for its upcoming UFC 157: "Rousey vs. Carmouche" pay-per-view (PPV) event on Feb. 23, 2013 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Get your results, live updates and real-time coverage right here.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will make history with UFC 157 TONIGHT (Sat., Feb. 23, 2013) as for the first time, two women will wage war inside the Octagon at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

"Rousey vs. Carmouche" features the promotion's first-ever female champion, bantamweight badass Ronda Rousey, putting her 135-pound title on the line against ex-Strikeforce contender Liz Carmouche.

In the co-main event, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Lyoto Machida battles Dan Henderson for the chance to leapfrog Alexander Gustafsson en route to a 205-pound title shot against the winner of Jon Jones vs. Chael Sonnen, who throw down at UFC 159 in April. Also in action will be a scrappy bantamweight brouhaha pitting longtime veteran and former World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) kingpin Urijah Faber against the venerable Ivan Menjivar.

135 lbs.: UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Liz Carmouche

Round one: Rousey steps forward, throwing several short jabs. Carmouche fires back with some right hands and Rousey grabs her head trying to toss Carmouche. Carmouche stuffs it but Ronda gets a takedown anyways. Rousey pins an arm down and Carmouche jumps on Rousey's back and she has both hooks in! Rousey grabs on of Carmouche's feet and Carmouche is working for a choke. Carmouche looks like she might have the choke locked in but Ronda shrugs her off and Carmouche falls to the ground. Rousey is now on top, looking to drop some punches from above. Left hand from Ronda and then a right. Rousey drops down and passes immediately to side control. Rousey has a head lock and drops some short punches. Carmouche throws some knees from her back to Rousey's back. Carmouche tries to curl up and take Rousey's back but Rousey passes to mount and is hunting for the armbar. Rousey is in the position for the armbar! Rousey is trying to torque Carmouche and she finally pries the arm free and Carmouche taps! That was awesome!

Final Result: Ronda Rousey defeats Liz Carmouche via submission (armbar) at 4:49 of round one

205 lbs.: Dan Henderson vs. Lyoto Machida

Round one: Both men feeling each other out early and Henderson opens things up with a left leg kick. Snap kick from Machida and Henderson tries to close the distance but can't get inside. Another kick from Machida but it's blocked. Henderson is stooped over in the cage center really looking to find an opening to throw that big right hand of his. Another leg kick from Hendo and neither man has connected with a punch yet. Machida thinks about blitzing but backs off. Both men are very hesitant, worried about making a mistake. Huge right hand misses from Henderson as Machida side steps it easily. Again both man miss with big shots. Hendo finally steps in and connects with the right as he closes the distance properly, but Machida separates and kicks his legs. Henderson clinches in the cage center and throws a pair of knees. Leg kick from Henderson and they clinch again in the cage center. Machida scores a takedown in the final seconds and lands a right hand. 10-10

Round two: Body kick from Machida gets things started. Machida lunges forward throwing a combination but Machida backs away. Nice right hand connects from Henderson and they go back to posturing. Kick lands for Machida and Henderson backs him off with a right hand. Machida catches Henderson off balance and knocks him down with a short right hand but he pops right back to his feet. Hendo dives forward but he just can't break through Machida's defense. Spinning back kicks lands for Machida at the end of the round. 10-9 Machida

Round three: Back to the same old with Henderson in the cage center stalking Machida but not being able to connect with anything. Henderson lunges in but can't score. Machida responds with a body kick. Henderson closes the distance and secures top position on the ground, landing inside Machida's guard. After two minutes of inactivity, Machida pops back to his feet. Now Machida takes the cage center as Henderson circles on the outside. Machida tries to step inside and throws a jumping front kick but Henderson blocks it. Head kick from Machida glances and time runs out. This fight is going to be a nightmare to score. 10-9 Henderson

Final Result: Lyoto Machida defeats Dan Henderson via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

135 lbs.: Urijah Faber vs. Ivan Menjivar

Round one: Faber presses forward and eats a right hook from Menjivar. Push kick from Menjivar and Faber steps inside with a right hand. Faber tries to grab a head lock and Menjivar tosses him over his shoulder beautifully, but Faber reverses the position the second he hits the ground. Faber is on top in side control but Menjivar retains his guard. Faber drops a few punches to the body and then an elbow to the head. Menjivar is threatening with an armbar but Faber denies him and drops a few big elbows. Another pair of elbows from Faber and those are going ot take their toll if he keeps 'em up. Nice up kick from Menjivar as Faber looms over him standing but he drops back down into his guard again. Menjivar tries to stand and Faber jumps on his back like a backpack. Faber is working for a rear naked choke and he sinks it in! Menjivar taps! Very impressive performance by Faber.

Final Result: Urijah Faber defeats Ivan Menjivar via submission (rear naked choke) at 4:34 of round one

170 lbs.: Court McGee vs Josh Neer

Round one: McGee is working from the outside as Neer presses the action. Nice counter strikes from McGee and he's really working his body kicks. Heavy body kick from McGee and another. Neer is really getting beat up here but he's still moving forward. They clinch briefly but McGee shrugs him off, throws a knee to the body and goes right back to the punching combinations. Great body shot from McGee and Neer is visibly hurt. McGee starts pounding away with a combination and Neer is in big trouble. Another shot to the body from McGee and Neer drops down. McGee jumps on him looking for a choke but settles for ground and pound, nearly sinking in a choke as the round finishes. 10-8 McGee

Round two: McGee throws a pair of kicks to the body and Neer is trying to protect himself but McGee is just in complete control. Combination from McGee and he catches a kick from Neer, throwing over the top with a right hand and then backing McGee into the fence. Neer throws a good uppercut to back McGee off but only briefly as McGee goes right back to the head with a high volume of punches. Leg kick from McGee and Neer responds with a pair of left hooks that connect. Nice jab from Neer and he's getting back in this fight. Heavy uppercut from Neer and McGee is forced to go defensive. Neer attacks with a good body shot and the tide is really turning. If Neer keeps this up, he could win the round. Neer keeps the pressure on and McGee responds with a left hook. Body shot from McGee and Neer attacks with a hook and a knee. Spinning back kick from McGee is blocked at the end of the round. 10-9 Neer

Round three: Great right hand from McGee to get things started. Neer fires back but McGee presses him into the fence. Neer circles out and responds with a left hook. McGee shoots in and scores a takedown but Neer pops back to his feet and his nose is bleeding. McGee tries to take his back standing but he can't secure the position and instead drops down looking for a takedown but he is having trouble securing the position. Finally McGee takes him down, dropping down punches but Neer tries to fend him off with a leg lock. McGee swarms him and takes Neer's back in a scramble, but Neer keeps rolling and retains the guard. McGee stays on top, dropping right hands and keeping the position until the fight concludes. 10-9 McGee

Final Result: Court McGee defeats Josh Neer via unanimous decision (30-27x3)

170 lbs.: Josh Koscheck vs. Robbie Lawler

Round one: Koscheck doesn't waste much time shooting in for a takedown and pressing Lawler into the fence, but he can't complete the takedown. Lawler is fending him off and they are really stuck in a stalemate right now. Koscheck keeps working for the takedown along the cage and Lawler nails him with a big right hand. Koscheck is hurt! Lawler pours it on with punches on the ground as Koscheck turtles, dropping punches from behind and that's a wrap! Koscheck is out! WOW! That's a HUGE upset!

Final Result: Robbie Lawler defeats Josh Koscheck via knockout (ground and pound) at 3:57 of round one

265 lbs.: Lavar Johnson vs. Brendan Schaub

Round one: Johnson stalks forward in the cage center but Schaub takes him down quickly, advancing to half guard on the ground and dropping down short punches. Johnson tries to posture up but Schaub attacks with a guillotine choke, transitioning to an anaconda. Johnson is trying to punch from bottom, and he actually forces Schaub to react to his blows and he gives up on the choke, switching to side control but Johnson gets back to his feet. Now Johnson scores a takedown and he's postures up on top of Schaub. Johnson is trying to drop some punches but Schaub sweeps him and he's back on top in half guard. Schaub is thinking about another anaconda choke but he gives up on it. Don't be surprised to see him try to get an arm triangle as his arm is close to in the position. Instead, Johnson turtles and tries to stand but Schaub takes him down again, landing inside his guard, throwing right hands from top until the bell. 10-9 Schaub

Round two: Both men clinch early but after some posturing, Schaub takes Johnson down, landing on top in half guard. Schaub drops a few short punches and is thinking about passing to mount but he can't get the position and the ref stands them up after they stall. Johnson lands a huge punch on the inside that rocks Schaub but Schaub fires back and takes hi down again, landing inside his guard. Schaub drops a few short punches and passes to half guard. Schaub isn't able to create enough space to dish out much punishment and he just stays on top until time expires. 10-9 Schaub

Round three: Schaub shoots in, grabs a single leg and takes Johnson down. He's on top in half guard but not doing much and the ref stands them up. He immediately shoots in and takes Johnson down again, trying to pass past half guard but he can't get it. Schaub lifts his leg and passes to mount successfully this time, but Johnson bucks and he moves back to the safety of half guard. Schaub rolls for an anaconda choke but can't secure it and he instead just drops a few punches from on top in half guard again. Schaub rides out the rest of the round from top position and that's a wrap. 10-9 Schaub

Final Result: Brendan Schaub defeats Lavar Johnson via unanimous decision (30-27x3)

155 lbs.: Michael Chiesa vs. Anton Kuivanen

Round one: Chiesa is working from the outside early while Kuivanen is trying to strike from the cage center. Chiesa presses forward and throws a left hand but Kuivanen lands an uppercut up the middle. They clinch and Kuivanen presses Chiesa into the fence and Kuivanen takes inside position and lands a few knees but backs off. Nice punches from Kuivanan and he connects with a right hand. Chiesa shoots in and briefly score a takedown, but Kuivanen pops back to his feet and fends off the next attempt with a whizzer. Kuivanen takes inside position along the fence as time expires. 10-9 Kuivanen

Round two: Chiesa immediately shoots in for a takedown early, looking for an ankle pick but Kuivanen escapes and pushes him into the fence, throwing knees. Chiesa takes Kuivanen's back standing and they roll on the ground. Kuivanen tries to turn into him but Chiesa locks in a body triangle and he's attacking with a choke. He nearly has his forearm underneath the chin but can't secure it. He tries again and this time he slips the choke in and it is extremely tight as Kuivanen taps!

Final Result: Michael Chiesa defeats Anton Kuivanen via submission (rear naked choke) at 2:29 of round two

155 lbs.: Matt Grice vs. Dennis Bermudez

Round one: Bermudez steps forward and pushes Grice into the fence, but Grice reverses the position. Bermudez scores a takedown and he's on top of Grice dropping heavy right hands. Bermudez is in full mount dropping big punches and Grice is in big trouble. Bermudez is too high and Grice escapes the position, getting to his feet but nearly gets caught in a guillotine choke. Grice hangs tough and pushes Bermudez into the fence again, throwing some knees to the thigh. They separate and Grice landsa solid leg kick and then a left hook. Another low kick from Grice and Bermudez shoots in for a takedown but gets stuffed. Both men wing heavy hooks but they only hit air. Grice steps forward and lands a right hand but Bermudez cracks him with a right of his own. Grice is backing straight up and Bermudez lands a series of straight punches. Massive punch from Grice rocks Bermudez but he gets back to his feet. Bermudez throws a body kick but Grice catches it and punches him with a heavy right hand. Bermudez shoots in for a takedown but again gets denied. Another leg kick from Bermudez is countered. Grice steps forward and nails Bermudez with a combination at the end of the round. 10-9 Grice

Round two: Left hook from Grice clips Bermudez and knocks him off balance but he pops back to his feet. Grice again catches Bermudez as he steps forward with a left hook on the way in and Bermudez initiates a clinch looking for a takedown. Leg kick from Bermudez and he charges in but Grice nails him again and stuff the takedown. Now Grice is working for a takedown along the fence and he gets it, taking Bermudez's back with one hook in along the fence. Bermudez turns towards him and escapes the position, taking inside position along the cage but he needs to make something happen. They separate and trade strikes but Grice shoots in for a takedown again. Bermudez stuffs him and lands an uppercut on the inside. Nice knee from Bermudez as Grice tries to get to his feet. Bermudez attacks with an anaconda choke, rolling Grice at the end of the round but he runs out of time. 10-9 Grice

Round three: Big punch from Bermudez and Grice is in BIG trouble! Bermudez gets on top of him and starts dropping massive punches, really hurting Grice. Grice gets back to his feet and Bermudez is unloading everything he's got into him, throwing hooks, uppercuts, elbows and knees! Somehow, Grice is surviving and now he's firing back! The crowd is going insane! Both men are completely exhausted and they're just throwing everything they've got. This is insane! Bermudez clocks Grice with a nasty combination and throws hard all the way to the final bell. What a round! 10-8 Grice

Final Result: Dennis Bermudez defeats Matt Grice via split decision (29-28x2, 28-29)

155 lbs.: Caros Fodor vs. Sam Stout

Round one: Stout lands a right hand early and presses Fodor into the fence but can't keep him there. Fodor separates and lands some nice strikes, working for a takedown and he gets it along the fence. Fodor tries to pass guard but can't and Stout reverses the position, nearly taking his back. They get back to standing and both men trade heavy strikes as Stout pushes him into the cage and scores a takedown. Stout works to pass guard, moving to half guard and then mount. Fodor hip escapes but Stout again gets the mount, takes Fodor's back and attempts an armbar at the end of the round but can't lock it in. 10-9 Stout

Round two: They clinch at the beginning of the round and Fodor presses forward, landing a pair of huge right hands that stun Stout but he hangs tough. Stout clinches and they separates. Fodor again goes on the offensive and Stout responds with a nice body shot and then another. Head kick from Stout and he finishes a combination with a punch to the body. Leg kick from Stout and both men clip each other with left hooks. Solid lead left hook connects for Fodor and he's really trying to back Stout up. Fodor scores a takedown in the final 10 seconds. 10-9 Fodor

Round three: Both men clinch early but it's a stalemate. They go back to standing and Fodor backs Stout up. They clinch in the cage center and Fodor backs Stout up into the fence and takes him down. Fodor tries to keep Stout down but he pops back to his feet along the fence and they attack each other with knees and elbows at short range. They separate and Fodor is really trying to work that lead left hook but both men's paces have slowed. Good short strikes connect for Fodor and they clinch again. Stou thas inside position along the fence and Fodor connects with a pair of knees. Stout changes levels looking for a takedown at the end of the fight but can't get it as time expires. 10-9 Fodor

Final Result: Sam Stout defeats Caros Fodor via split decision (28-29, 29-28x2)

170 lbs.: Brock Jardine vs. Kenny Robertson

Round one: Robertson gets things started with a leg kick and Jardine responds witha right hand. Takedown from Robertson but Jardine has him in a guillotine choke and it seems pretty tight. Robertson is hanging in there and Jardine has been holding onto it for too long now and he eventually escapes. Guard pass from Robertson and he takes Jardine's back looking for the rear naked choke but Jardine is defending. Robertson is still on the back, he grabs Jardine's leg and pulls it out straight in a weird sort of leg lock and Jardine taps! Wow that came out of nowhere, some strange sort of hamstring stretch submission or something.

Final Result: Kenny Robertson defeats Brock Jardine via submission (kneebar) at 2:57 of round one

170 lbs.: Neil Magny vs. Jon Manley

Round 1: There was a lot of battling against the cage for the vast majority of the round. Magny landed a good right later in the round and a solid leg kick as well. Again Magny went with a right hand that landed. Manley is spending a lot of time looking for takedowns, Magny is landing punches and staying upright. 10-9 Magny

Round 2: Manley trying for the takedown again. Now he finally is in deep enough that he can get it to the ground. Manley is in side control and Magny rolls him over. Manley is looking to sweep now himself but Magny is landing some good shots. They go back to standing and Manley is looking for the takedown again. They end up on the ground again and Magny is on top again. Knees to the head by Magny and a knee to the body. 10-9 Magny.

Round 3: Manley is trying to throw his hands more now and he's landing a little bit. Magny with a takedown now and he's in Manley's guard. Manley is looking for an armbar. Magny defends and gets his arm free and starts landing punches immediately. Mount and he is landing good shots so Manley gives up his back. Manley able to stand up now and he...pushes Magny into the cage and does nothing with it. Magny with a hard jab. 10-9 Magny.

Final Result: Neil Magny defeats Jon Manley via unanimous decision (30-27x2, 29-28)

170 lbs.: Yuri Villefort vs. Nah-shon Burrell

Round 1: Uppercut lans for Burrell and now Villefort catches a kick and gets the takedown into side control. Villefort gets the back and now looks to lock in the rear naked choke. Burrell does stand up and they are striking again. Burrell with another kick but it's caught again and now Willefort with a hard kick and another hard leg kick. Burrell went to walk away after they were on the ground and he stood up so Villefort attacked him. Now Burrell lands some hard shots that hurt Villefort. 10-9 Villefort

Round 2: Burrell came out hard but didn't land much. Villefort with a body shot and a leg kick and then another leg kick. Burrell landing a few punches now but Villefort finding a home for tose leg kicks. Villefort landing some good shots and Burrell lands a counter in the middle of the flurry. Uppercut lands for Burrell. Burrell landing another uppercut in a combination. Hard right for Burrll and Villefort lands a leg kick in response. Sweeping right by Villefort and a left to the body. Very tough round with both guys having their moments but I'd give that one to Burrell to even it up in my eyes.

Round 3: Villefort with a quick takedown and he's looking right for a choke as he ended up on the back, but he loses position before sweeping and taking the back again. Burrell scoots out and is back to standing though. Villefort with a takedown again and he's working to pass and ends up on the back again. Burrell stands up and Villefort takes him down looking for a leg lock and Burrell punches him in the face a lot. ..like, a lot. Villefort is forced to give up on the leg. Villefort looking for a takedown again but Burrell locks up a guillotine before Villefort pops his head out. Burrell with a front kick to the face and another upprecut. 10-9 Burrell

Final Result: Nah-Shon Burrell defeats Yuri Villefort via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28x2)
