UFC 168 bonuses and awards: Ronda Rousey banks $150K for Miesha Tate armbar

Mo money, mo problems...

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

UFC 168: "Weidman vs. Silva 2" at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, has officially wrapped, which means it's time for those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights to get a little extra grease for their efforts.

To the tune of $75,000 each.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to three of the 22 fighters on the card. And it's probably no surprise who's heading home with a second sack of simoleons.

Ronda Rousey is the big winner on the night. Her third round armbar of Miesha Tate was enough to earn her "Submission of the Night" and the exciting nature of the first two rounds was strong enough to earn the both of them "Fight of the Night".

That's a cool $150,000, just in bonus money.

Elsewhere, Travis Browne's elbow destruction of Josh Barnett earned "Hapa" the "Knockout of the Night" award.

Here are the special UFC 168 bonuses:

Knockout of the Night -- Travis Browne

Submission of the Night -- Ronda Rousey

Fight of the Night -- Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate

Again, each fighter received $75,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along as soon as that information becomes available.
