Not that she has plans to retire anytime soon, but Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey tells Fight Hub that she is eying a potential fight against surging star Holly Holm before she steps away from the fight game.
The former professional boxer turned-mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter (Holm) has been tearing it up since making her MMA debut in 2011, going undefeated (6-0) with five knockout victories to her credit; two coming under the Legacy FC umbrella and one with Bellator.
While her presence inside the Octagon would be welcome sight, her management team wants a six-figure payday before Holm puts pen to paper.
Nevertheless, both side appear confident that an eventual deal will be struck. And Rousey, for one, would love nothing more than to test her skills against the former boxing champion. "Rowdy" also mentioned that when she does feel it's time to step away, she will, and she is confident that she'll leave the sport in very capable hands.
And Holm -- at least in this guy's view -- is more than worthy of being the new face of women's MMA.
