'Furious' Chael Sonnen upset 'personal medical business' made public, while TSN's Michael Landsberg clings to colon caper

Did he or didn't he? Chael Sonnen is heated about recent allegations that he went under the knife the night before he entered the Octagon with Rashad Evans at UFC 167. He addressed the issue for the first time since the "news" dropped.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Chael Sonnen allegedly had several inches of his colon removed during emergency surgery on Nov. 15, 2013, just one day before his first-round technical knockout loss to Rashad Evans at UFC 167, according to a "report" on Wednesday.

Chaos ensued.

Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) Executive Director, Keith Kizer, clarified that the report was false, chalking up the gossip to Sonnen "coyly" working over interviewer Michael Landsberg.

Landsberg personally still isn't convinced, later tweeting that since Sonnen "won't deny it," he feels that it's the same as him "admitting it."

Late Wednesday evening after his appearance on "UFC Tonight," Sonnen appeared on Fox Sports 1, during which he was asked about the procedure. The self-proclaimed "American Gangster" was obviously upset; however, he still did not deny that it happened.

"My personal medical business is just that, personal, I'm furious that they were given this information."

The plot thickens.
