UFC Fight Night 32: "Belfort vs. Henderson" at the Goiania Arena in Goiania, Brazil, has officially wrapped, which means it's time for those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights to get a little extra grease for their efforts.
To the tune of $50,000 each.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 22 fighters on the card. And it's probably no surprise who's heading home with a second sack of simoleons.
Indeed, the fact that Vitor Belfort became the first man in history to stop Dan Henderson via strikes in the main event cemented his "Knockout of the Night" award. The fact that it was another impressive head kick was just icing.
Elsewhere, the evening's preliminary card produced the other two bonuses for the night, as Adriano Martins' armbar tapout of Daron Cruickshank earned him "Submission of the Night" while the crazy back-and-forth three minute war between Omari Akhmedov and Thiago Perpetuo earned them "Fight of the Night' honors.
Here are the UFC Fight Night 32 bonuses:
Knockout of the Night -- Vitor Belfort
Submission of the Night -- Adriano Martins
Fight of the Night -- Omari Akhmedov vs. Thiago Perpetuo
Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along as soon as that information becomes available.
