Tonight's (Sat., Nov. 9, 2013) UFC Fight Night 32: "Belfort vs. Henderson" main card from Goiania, Brazil, kicked off on Fox Sports 1 with a featherweight showcase pitting streaking Ultimate Fighter Brazil winner Rony Jason against the always dangerous and equally exciting Jeremy Stephens.
This one was supposed to be a strong contender for "Fight of the Night". When it was over, it looked like a lock for "Knockout of the Night".
That's because Jason unloaded an overhand right early in the bout but in the process, ducked his head down. The problem? Stephens was unleashing a high kick and it connected clean to the dome.
Jason's eyes rolled back as his head collided with the mat. The lights were on, but nobody was home.
What a way to start the evening.
