Michael Bisping fires back at Tim Kennedy: 'Call UFC and tell them you want to fight me in April'

We have a middleweight "tough guy" versus a 185-pound "big shot." These guys need a crash course in insults.

If Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight Michael Bisping was not impressed by the fact that Chris Weidman knocked out Anderson Silva to win the 185-pound title, you can bet dollars to donuts that he's not applauding Tim Kennedy's recent win over Rafael Natal.

Or as he calls it, a "random Brazilian."

Following his highlight-reel finish over "Sapo," which came in the main event of the UFC Fight Night 31 event on Nov. 9, 2013 at Ft. Campbell in Hopkinsville, Kentucky (watch it), the former Army Ranger asked the promotion to match him up with someone who was not a "top guy."

Someone like Bisping.

"The Count," naturally, took exception to that assessment and fired off a couple of tweets of his own. While he deleted the first one because it inadvertently insulted Natal, the following remained.

Bisping is probably used to getting called out by now.

He usually just says "thank you," but Kennedy appears to have gotten under his skin. That may be frustration stemming from his detached retina, which forced him out of his UFC Fight Night 30 main event against Mark Munoz and onto the sidelines.

He expects to be back in April .. but is he an "important" enough fight for Kennedy?
