UFC Fight Night 31: "Fight for Troops 3" from Fort Campbell in Kentucky, has officially wrapped, which means it's time for those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights to get a little extra grease for their efforts.
To the tune of $50,000 each.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 24 fighters on the card. And it's probably no surprise who's heading home with a second sack of simoleons.
Tim Kennedy was the obvious choice to take home "Knockout of the Night" honors with his leaping left hook destruction of Rafael Natal in the main event of the evening.
Ranger up, indeed.
The main card also produced both the "Submission of the Night" and the "Fight of the Night," as Michael Chiesa brought home the former by choking out Colton Smith while the latter went to Rustam Khabilov and Jorge Masvidal for their thrilling war of attrition.
Here are the UFC Fight Night 31 bonuses:
Knockout of the Night -- Tim Kennedy
Submission of the Night -- Michael Chiesa
Fight of the Night -- Rustam Khabilov vs. Jorge Masvidal
Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along as soon as that information becomes available.
