Kickboxing returns to Spike TV!
Glory's brand of kickboxing hits the airwaves tonight (Nov. 23, 2013) LIVE from the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City with the Glory Lightweight tournament. The four-man tournament features four of the best kick boxers on the planet battling for the Glory lightweight title.
MMAmania will have LIVE coverage of Glory 12 later this evening, starting at 9 p.m. ET on Spike TV.
In addition to the lightweight tournament, tonight's card also features Joe Schilling's return to the ring after his upset of Artem Levin at Glory 10, where he captured the middleweight title. Schilling is the first American to find success in the modern era of kickboxing.

GLORY 12 PLAY-BY-PLAY RESULTS:
Robin Van Roosmalen vs. Andy Ristie
Round one: Push kick from Ristie to open the round. And three more. Low kick from Roosmalen. Roosmalen comes up short on a hook. Knee to the body from Ristie. Ristie lands a nice push kick. Step in knee from Ristie. Uppercut from Ristie gets through Roosmalen's defense. Knee from Ristie lands to the face. Roosmalen swarms with a flurry of punches. A right hand lands for Ristie that puts Roosmalen on the mat. 10-8 Ristie.
Round two: They trade low kicks to open the round. Front kick lands to Roosmalen's face and knocks out his mouthguard. Ristie throws a knee and slips to the canvas. Two hooks from Ristie connect and Roosmalen slips to the mat. They trade punches and Ristie connects and puts Roosmalen down. Roosmalen is out. Two huge upsets tonight for Ristie. He's the clear top lightweight in the world.

Joe Schilling vs. Wayne Barrett
Round one: Schilling lands a left hook to open the round. Barrett is moving well. Barrett attacks but Schilling is able to parry and defend well. Barrett pushes forward and lands a straight through the guard. He's a step ahead of Schilling. They fight in the clinch and end up on the ground. Head kick to the head is blocked by Schilling. Schilling is taunting and lands a counter left. 10-9 Wayne Barrett.
Round two: They are trading punches to open up the second. Barrett lands and has Schilling on wobbly legs. Schilling gets hit with a right cross and is down on the mat. Schilling misses a superman punch and slips to the mat. Barrett is pressing forward looking for the finish, but Schilling is avoiding a lot of the punches. Barrett is fighting too wildly. Schilling misses on a spinning backfist. Push kick from Schilling puts Barrett on his butt. Another combination puts Schilling on the mat. That's two knockdowns for Barrett. 10-7 Wayne Barrett.
Round three: Schilling lands a hard right hook. They clinch up and Schilling lands knees to the body and head. Schilling needs a knockout to win this fight. Barrett sticks Schilling with two jabs. Schilling with a flying knee but it doesn't connect. Schilling clinches and lands a knee that drops Barrett. That was crazy. Barrett is back to his feet and Schilling has a minute to win. Two punches from Barrett and Schilling lands a knee to the body. Wild spinning backfist by Schilling misses. They clinch and trade knees to the body. Another missed spinning backfist. They trade all the way to the final bell. 10-8 Schilling.

Jamal Ben Saddik vs. Ben Edwards
Round one: Ben Edwards swings wildly and misses the right hand. Saddik lands two punches and a low kick. Saddik clinches and lands a knee to the head. Edwards slips to the ground. Saddik lands an inside leg kick. Saddik lands a knee to the body. Edwards is really having trouble with Saddik's size and range. Saddik throws a leg kick and it's checked by Edwards. Edwards tries a head kick to close the round but misses. 10-9 Ben Saddik.
Round two: Saddik lands a jab to open the round. What's with these terrible cameramen? Just terrible. Left hand from Edwards lands. Saddik lands two low kicks. Lazy low kick from Edwards. Edwards rushes forward with punches and misses everything. Saddik lands a low kick and then a hook to the liver. Liver punch from Edwards. Lazy low kick from Edwards. He's not really committing much. Saddick lands to close the round. 10-9 Edwards.
Round three: Haaaaard liver punch from Edwards to open the round. Knee to the head from Saddik. Another knee up the middle from Saddik. He's just making Edwards look like an amateur. Edwards misses on a right hook and Saddik counters with a knee to the face. Edwards is rushing forward and spamming the overhand left. Edwards finally turns it up and is landing hooks to the head. He needs to keep the pressure. He lands another overhand right. And another. Saddik looks to be fading. This is all Edwards. OH MY GOD! Edwards lands punch after punch and Ben Saddik is knocked out! WOW!

Warren Stevelmans vs. Ky Hollenbeck
Round one: Hard low kick from Hollenbeck opens the bout. Hollenbeck clinches and lands a knee to the body. Stevelmans pushes forward with punches but nothing lands. Hollenbeck clinches and lands knees to the body and head. Stevelmans puts Hollenbeck off ballance with a low kick. Hollenbeck is turning it up and landing hard punches around Stevelmans' defense. Stiff jab from Hollenbeck and then a straight. This is a great opening round for Hollenbeck. Hard uppercut from Stevelmans. Hollenbeck is just bullying Stevelmans in the clinch. Stevelmans telegraphs a knee. Clinch work to the close the round. 10-9 Hollenbeck.
Round two: Stevelmans comes out aggressive and lands punches to open the round. Hollenbeck lands a spinning backfist and then hits a doubleleg. Stevelmans hits a trip. Hollenbeck lands knees to the body. These guys are totally forgetting Glory rules. Turning into a Muay Thai fight. Hollenbeck is swarming with punches. They clinch in the corner. The referee breaks them and they are swinging. This is turning into an ugly bout. They aren't listening to the referee at all. Spinning backfist lands again for Hollenbeck. He lands a flying knee and the referee is giving Stevelmans a standing eight-count. That's the round. 10-8 Hollenbeck.
Round three: Hollenbeck is dictating the pace of the third round with kicks to the body. He's spamming them and Stevelman lands a left hand that hurts Hollenbeck. Stevelmans is pushing the pace and Hollenbeck lands a spinning backfist. Jumping knee from Hollenbeck. Stevelmans swings but misses on a wild punch. Hollenbeck lands another takedown and Stevelmans is slow to get up. Another illegal sweep. Hollenbeck just doesn't care about rules. Stevelmans with his own illegal sweep. Yep they don't even care. 10-9 Hollenbeck. What an ugly fight.
Final Result: Ky Hollenbeck def. Warren Stevelmans by Unanimous Decision.

Giorgio Petrosyan vs. Andy Ristie
Round one: Ristie lands a kick low and Petrosyan checks it. Petrosyan explodes with a left hand. Tentative opening for Giorgio. Ristie lands a right hand down the pipe. Petrosyan slips to the mat. Petrosyan lands an off balanced left hand that has Ristie a bit hurt. Two punch combo from Petrosyan is capped off with a kick to the thigh. Giorgio lands a hook to close the round. 10-9 Ristie.
Round two: Ristie lands a knee to the chest as Petrosyan is off balance in the corner. Slow pace as Petrosyan lands a straight left. He follows up with two short punches to the head. Body kick by Petrosyan. He doubles up his jab and then lands a hook. Looks like he's starting to get comfortable. Low blow and Petrosyan is given time to recover. Action continues and Petrosyan slips a left and lands one of his own. Spring knee from Petrosyan lands to the body. Clinch by Petrosyan and he lands a knee to the body to close the round. 10-9 Petrosyan.
Round three: Ristie is super aggressive to open the third. Petrosyan is on his bike trying to get space but Ristie is unrelenting. Ristie lands two punches and drops Petrosyan. HOLY CRAP! Andy Ristie is the first man to stop Petrosyan.
Final Result: Andy Ristie def. Giorgio Petrosyan by Knockout!

Robin Van Roosmalen vs. Davit Kiria
Round one: Roosmalen and Kiria spend the first 30 seconds of the round exchanging leg kicks. Neither fighter is checking them nor are they backing down. Robin pushes forward with a four punch combination but Kiria does well to cover up. Nice step in knee from Roosmalen. Kiria lands several punches to close the round. 10-9 Roosmalen. And oh hey Floyd Mayweather!
Round two: Roosmalen seems to have found his tempo in the second. He's landing multiple punch combinations, including some really nice body shots. Kiria is staying in the pocking slinging leather, but he's just a step behind Roosmalen. Nice front kick to the face from Kiria. Really good action in this second round. They trade until the close of the round. This pace is crazy. 10-9 Roosmalen.
Round three: Roosmalen lands a knee to the body. Kiria follows up with a kick to the thigh. These guys aren't backing down and it's going to be interesting to see if they can keep this pace in the finals. Roosmalen lands a hard left hook to the head and then attacks the body with hooks. Kiria attempts a spinning back kick but it doesn't land. Step in knee from Roosmalen lands. Final minute and Kiria needs to throw more. Hook to the body from Roosmalen. Kiria lands a kick to the thigh. Flying knee from Roosmalen is short. Kiria attemps a high kick to close the round but it misses. 10-9 Roosmalen.
