UFC 167: "St. Pierre vs. Hendricks" at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, has officially wrapped, which means it's time for those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights to get a little extra grease for their efforts.
To the tune of $50,000 each.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 24 fighters on the card. And it's probably no surprise who's heading home with a second sack of simoleons.
Although it ended in controversy, Georges St. Pierrre's close split decision win over Johny Hendricks in the main event of the evening was good enough to win "Fight of the Night" honors. Feel free to debate that decision as well.
Elsewhere, Donald Cerrone's second round tapout of Evan Dunham earned him "Submission of the Night" while Tyron Woodley's booming destruction of Josh Koscheck scored him the "Knockout of the Night" bonus.
Here are the UFC 167 bonuses:
Knockout of the Night -- Tyron Woodley
Submission of the Night -- Donald Cerrone
Fight of the Night -- Georges St. Pierre vs. Johny Hendricks
Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along as soon as that information becomes available.
