The co-main event of tonight's (Sat., Nov. 16, 2013) UFC 167: "St. Pierre vs. Hendricks" pay-per-view (PPV) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, featured two good friends, Chael Sonnen vs. Rashad Evans, leaving their seats at the commentary table to exchange fisticuffs inside the Octagon.
It was all Rashad.
Like, really, Evans absolutely dominated this fight, from pillar to post, bell to bell. As Joe Rogan, UFC color commentator, described it, this was "an absolute mauling".
"Suga" worked Sonnen against the fence for a few minutes, then took him to the floor where he landed a lot of hard punches. Before long, Evans had transitioned to full mount and unleashed a volley of punches that forced Sonnen to tap the mat.
It was his only way out.
